think of you
Or call out
your name
Or look at
old photos
In golden
picture frames
My heart skips
a beat
Sometimes
tears will fall
For this is
the way of life
When loneliness
calls
Memories of
the past
Is how my
life is today

Remembering
the day you went away
My heart skips
a beat
This I can't
control
I'm just a
mom who wishes
Her child
would come home
My heart will
always
Skip a beat
each time
remembering
our time together
Before the
angels said, "It's time"
I've learned
to go on
And cherish
the memories we made
But my heart
will always skip a beat
Remembering
the day you went away
I love you
my child
Yesterday,
today and tomorrow too
My heart is
so lonely
