~SILENT TEARS~
As Christmas
time approaches
And December
is here
I think about
the past
And how my
life has changed through the years
I remember
the tree all decorated
Aglow with
lights and tinsel too
I think of
the homemade decorations
I'll cry a
silent tear for you
I remembered
when our family
Sang songs
and hugged so much
I think of
how many are missing
And can no
longer give us a hug
I think of
the day you were born
How happy
and content it made my life
You changed
us into a family
Instead of
just a husband and wife
I remember
you growing so quickly
It was like
time was moving too fast
I remember
the laughter we shared
Oh, the memories
of those wonderful pasts
I remember
the last Christmas you were here
I didn't know
there wouldn't be anymore
I cling to
the memories of that last year
And wipe a
silent tear off the floor
I think of
you daily, my child
With love
deep inside my heart
But Christmas
time I hurt so much
And the silent
tears begin to start
I'll always
have silent tears
I never know
when they will begin
I'll always
remember the years we were together
And what is
now, yet what could have been
I pray your
Christmas in Heaven
Is as lovely
as I picture it to be
Here on earth
I'll shed a silent tear
Because you're
not here with me
I love you,
my child, forever
Nothing will
ever take that away
But I'll cry
silent tears on Christmas
For my child
who was taken away
