To my aunts
and my uncles
To my parents'
best friends
Have you all
forgotten me
Just because
my life had to end?
Don't you realize
the pain
That my parents
live with each day
The sadness
and the hurt
That never
goes away
Why do you
exclude me
And pretend
I don't exist
It could have
been your child
Whose name
was on the list
I am here,
so remember me
The way you
did when I was on earth
Just because
I'm an angel now
My parents
know my worth
Just because
I can't be there
With you on
Holidays
I'm still
my parents child
I had no choice
when I went away
Think about
my parents
And the life
they've had to live
Don't you
think they'd bring me back
If life for
me they could give
You never say
my name out loud
And that hurts
my parents so
For I am still
their child
They didn't
want me to go
Think about
my parents
And the life
they've had to live
The only wish
they have
Is to have
me back again
Please don't
forget me
For I once
did live
My parents
only have my memories
For the life
I once lived
A child in
