~SEASONS
OF MY HEART~
My heart is
invisible
The world
cannot see
All it has
stored
Only known
to me
It holds many
emotions
Happiness,
silliness and pain
Some days
it makes me happy
But some days
it cries like rain
I cannot control
the feelings
Nor know what
each day will bring
My heart has
its own seasons
Like fall,
winter, and spring
When tears
start falling
I can only
wipe them away
I can't help
the memories
My heart is
thinking some days
When happiness
surrounds me
My heart tells
me how to smile
I cherish
the good days
That come
once in a while
My heart shows
me compassion
And love so
very strong
It shows me
how to know
Things right
and things wrong
And yet there
are times
When I wish
my heart could talk to me
And tell me
how to vend happiness
Living with
tragedy
I wish it could
take bad days
And turn them
into spring
And tell me
about rose gardens
That summertime
brings
I wish it
could take winter
When I sometimes
get the blues
And fill my
mind with fall memories
With autumn
and its hues
I wish it could
take Holidays
And take the
pain away
And bring
me happiness and laughter
Like yesteryear
days
I know I can't
change
Anything my
heart feels
I can only
take each day
Even if its
climbing uphill
But my heart
has a large storage
And memories
are there for me
Winter, spring,
summer and fall
The seasons
are there for me to see
As this Mother's
Day comes
I think I'd
like to look at spring
When you and
I were together
How happy
our hearts used to sing
I've tucked
away so much
In this old
heart of mine
My seasons
of my heart
Are there
for me all the time
