~SEASONS
OF OUR LIFE~
I've searched
this wide world over
And in my
search, things I have found
Things that
I may have overlooked
That may be
laying on the ground
Like a fall
leaf that has fallen
From far above
in a tree
I look at
it with wisdom
How much it
seems like me
The grass that
spring up in springtime
Each blade
a gentle bright green
Making me
know that there is new life
In my heart
as it always should be
The beauty
of a snowfall
And snowflakes
sticking to my hair
Touching the
ice formed formation
Remembering
times from yesteryear
Summer with
it's warm days
And sun that
shines on my skin
Feeling the
life of a wonderful day
Thinking about
what should have been
I take the
seasons of my life
And I now
see things I didn't before
The signs
of recovery of broken hearts
For a child
who is not here anymore
I think of
how life was before
In the seasons
of my life
Before something
happened to change
And make my
future never seem right
I've walked
the path of autumn
I've seen
the rebirth of spring
I have witnessesed
the beauty of winter
And the warmth
that summer brings
I can take
all my seasons
And I can
walk back in time
But I can
also use those seasons
To find a
future I'd lost of mine
I think of
my seasons with memories
And with these
I find new ways
To help me
get thru my seasons
Even on cold
winter days
We all have
seasons in our lives
And many memories
in our hearts
When spring
comes this April
We can all
begin a new start
Take the seasons
of your life
Find something
special in each one
Remember the
good times we shared
With our daughters
and our sons
Remember the
laughter with fondness
Remember the
kisses and hugs even more
Our seasons
will help get us through
The path we
are on to Heaven's Door
