We are left
alone
We sometimes
feel
When our grandchild
dies
It seems so
unreal
Our life was
touched
On that day
When the Angel's
called
Our grandchild
away
What about
us
We sometimes
say
We see our
own child
Hurting everyday
We may not
be the parent
But we loved
our grandchild so
We also hurt
And want you
to know
It's hard
for us also
To live with
this pain
Trying to
be strong for our child
When our own
tears fall like rain
What about
us?
We grandparents
who care
Our hearts
are hurting
It all seems
so unfair
For all grandparents
who have lost a grandchild
