What would
I be
Had I never
had the chance
To love a
child I bore
To laugh with,
sing and dance
What would
I be
Had I been
childless all these years
Never knowing
the bond of love
Even though
memories now bring tears
What would
I be
Where would
I go
If I'd never
been called Mommy
Like most
the world has known
And though
I had the chance
And I bore
a child I loved
God had different
plans
When he called
from above
My child lives
in Heaven
I wish he
were here with me
But I know
one day together
We shall live
our lives in eternity
