Kim and Joel knew each other for 3 years since the 7th grade. After 9th grade was over Kim had to move from Waldorf back to PA with her family because her grandmother got cancer.She moves back with her best friend Michelle and goes to La Plata HS again for 12th grade. Kim has told Joel about how her life was in PA. But she left out 1 part of what happened to her in the 11th grade. As soon as Joel finds out what happen and that Kim is being stalked, he will do anything for her safety, even kill.
