| Au terme d'une croisière où il a rencrontré le quinquagénaire John Sterlin (Lewis Stone) et sa jeune femme, le prince javanais de Gace (Nils Aster) les invite dans son palais où l'inévitable se produira. Le mari découvre la vérité, et cette situation rend angoissante une chasse au tigre à laquelle participent les deux hommes; mais l'époux trahi sauve la vie de l'amant. Il consent même au divorce pour assurer le bonheur de Lillie. Mais celle-ci n'a pas cessé de l'aimer, comme elle le lui affirme en le retrouvant sur le chemin du retour. |
