I should point out that much of the WLIX lineup
information I have so far is based on my memories of listening to WLIX and on
searches I’ve done of old issues of Newsday on microfilm. Unfortunately, Newsday does not have
truly comprehensive listings of everything airing on Long Island radio
stations.
If you have any accurate information about WLIX
scheduling and programming from 1979 through 1995, please let me know. This information could come in the form of
station logs, memos, and promotional materials distributed by WLIX. If you can help me, please e-mail me.
