~CHILD GONE
HOME~
~Author Unknown~
Children's
voices fill the air,
Life and laughter
ring,
across the
hills of Heaven,
small, sweet
voices sing.
Gone to be
with Jesus,
each little
girl and boy,
now run and
play as never before,
In the land
of eternal joy.
Never to know
another tear,
or face another
pain;
what was a
senseless loss on earth,
has now become
Heaven's gain.
While Heaven
is much sweeter,
in our heart
you'll not be alone;
God filled
it with memories of laughter and love,
of that child
who has now gone home.

"TO MY BROTHER
KENNY, I LOVE YOU"

What can I
do?
But make my
life a tribute to you...
~In the meantime~
Someday I
will go to you,
And I know
that you'll be waiting.
With me through
crisis strong and true,
And with me
celebrating.
I don't know
just when it will be;
In the daytime
or at night.
In which month
life's doors will close on me,
When I will
walk into the light.
I only know
that when I go
To join you
where you are,
My soul will
sing,
My heart will
glow,
To be with
You in the stars.
In the meantime
I will pray
That your
being is filled with light.
That joy and
blessings fill your days,
That peace
gives you rest through the nights.
That you can
spend time with those still here,
Yet return
to you place so fair.
To be with
those who hold you dear,
Who waited
for you there.
I'll seize
hold of my days that remain,
And make them
worth my breath.
I will try
not to dwell in despair and pain,
Or bring on
my own death.
I will try
to be what you want me to be,
I will be
who I am.
I will try
to appreciate those still with me,
And be as
kind as I can.
I will try
to avoid the mistakes I've made,
By learning,
by looking, by seeing.
I will try
not to always be afraid,
And be fair
to all sentient beings.
I'd do all
I can to show You my love,
To make You
proud of me.
And to let
you know, that though you are far above,
You're in
my heart, and always will be.
I Love You

Why did you
have to leave me
Why are you
not around
Three empty
places in my heart
No replacements
can be found
I love you
all my babies
I miss you
so each day
I bring your
names to mind and heart
Because your
memories stay.
I know you'll
always be here
Your spirits
are alive
I will be
with all of you
When I go
beyond the sky
I will never
let you
Be forgotten
by the world
You are my
boys, I love you
And, I love
my baby girl
Someday when
once we meet again
On Heaven's
precious shore
I'll hold
you all close to me
You'll leave
me never more
'Til then
the Father watches
And, keeps
you safe from harm
I know he
will return you all
Into my empty
arms.
I will always
and ever love you my babies

FROM THE
GATES OF REPENTANCE
THE NEW UNION
PRAYER BOOK FOR THE DAYS OF AWE
At the rising
of the sun and at its going down,
We remember
them.
At the blowing
of the wing and in the chill of Winter,
We remember
them.
At the opening
of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,
We remember
them.
At the blueness
of the skies and in the warmth of Summer,
We remember
them.
At the rustling
of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,
We remember
them.
At eh beginning
of the year and when it ends,
We remember
them.
As long as
we live, they too will live;
for they are
no a part of us, as we remember them.
When we are
weary and in need of strength,
We remember
them.
When we are
lost and sick at heart,
We remember
them.
When we are
lost and sick at heart,
We remember
them.
When we have
joys we yearn to share,
We remember
them.
When we have
decisions that are difficult to make,
We remember
them.
When we have
achievements that are based on theirs,
We remember
them.
As long as
we live, they too shall live,
for they are
a part of us, as we remember them.

~PLEASE GOD~
~Author Unknown~
"Please God,
I have my hand up.
May I be excused
for awhile
from the this
huge classroom where we live
and learn
the lessons of life?
I am finding
the lessons of this world too hard to learn.
Can I stop
off for a while in a quiet place?
As you know
I have lost my child
and I am very
tired of this day that I'm in.
The role is
too hard, the words are false.
My face is
a mask and my smile is unreal.
The only truth
I see is love, so please God,
may I be excused
from traveling
on this road
for awhile?
I've had my
hand up for a long time."

If you were
once connected with someone,
does it make
sense that the connection is broken
just because
of a physical death?
No, the connection
stays!!!!!
You may have
to listen differently.
You may have
to talk differently.
The truth is:
The connection
is never broken!!!!!
It's quite
impossible to break the most powerful
connection
in the universe.
As long as
you exist,
the connection
stays.

~WHERE DOES
MOM KEEP HER MEMORIES?~
~Author Unknown~
Where does
mom keep her memories?
In a box worn
beyond repair,
Tucked inside
are memories,
Ask and she
will gladly share.
Tattered Valentines
"To Mommy With Love,
"Papers boasting
"Good Work...Well Done!"
A hand print
small and fragile,
Blue ribbons
proudly won.
Macaroni shells
that once formed a flower,
A baby picture
smudged with kisses,
The first
tooth the Fairy spared,
Cards of IOU's
and loving wishes.
Where does
Mom keep her memories?
In a box this
precious cargo rests.
Reminiscent
of days long past,
This box of
love is her treasure chest.

~IF WE COULD
HAVE YOU BACK~
~Author Unknown~
If we could
have you back for just one day,
There would
be so many things we would like to say.
If we could
just be with you for one whole day,
To have you
close and know that you really are okay.
If we had known
that you would be gone forever,
If we had
known all those ties were going to be severed,
If we had
know the pain, the loss, and the ache,
If we had
known the difference without you would make.
In the darkness
you slipped away from us all,
Now it's just
your memories that we have to recall,
They say that
parting is such sweet sorrow,
But it's the
longing, the wondering and how to cope with tomorrow.
They say that
grieving a child is the very worst,
'Cause life's
plan is that the parents should go first.
Now all we
have are memories, the good time that we had,
We spend so
much time in tears, and pain and feeling sad.
So if we could
have you back for just one day,
You could
let us know how to dope until judgment day.
When we'll
be together as a family once again,
When we'll
be happy and free from all this pain.
Oh! It's hard
to live when your child has to die,
Then we spend
our lifetime trying to say Goodbye!

~THE CORD~
~Author Unknown~
We are connected
my child and
I,
by an invisible
cord,
not seen by
the eye.
It's not like
the cord,
that connects
us "till birth"
this cord
can't be seen
by any on
earth.
This cord does
it's work
right from
the start,
the invisible
cord,
from my child
to me.
The strength
of this cord,
is hard to
describe,
it can't be
destroyed,
it can't be
denied.
It's stronger
than any cord,
man could
create,
it withstands
the test,
can hold any
weight.
And though
you are gone,
though you're
not here with me,
the cord is
still there,
but no one
can see.
It pulls at
my heart ~
I am bruised
~ I am sore,
but this cord
is my lifeline,
as never before.
I am thankful
that God
connects us
this way,
a parent and
child,
death can't
take it away.

~ANGELS ARE
HARD TO FIND~
~Author Unknown~
When God calls
little children
to dwell with
Him above,
we mortals
sometimes question
the wisdom
of His love.
For no heartache
compares with
the death
of one small child,
who does so
much to make our
world seem
wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God
tires of calling
the aged to
his fold,
so he picks
a rosebud
before it
can grow old.
God knows how
much we need them,
so He only
takes a few,
to make the
land of Heaven,
one beautiful
to view.
Believing this
is difficult,
still somehow
we must try,
the two saddest
words mankind knows,
will always
be good-bye.
So when a little
child departs,
we who are
left behind,
must realize,
God loves children,
angels are
hard to find.
