~PRECIOUS CHILD~
~Karen Taylor-Good~
In my dreams,
you are alive and well
Precious child,
precious child
In my mind,
I see you clear as a bell
Precious child,
precious child
In my soul,
there is a hole
that can never
be filled
but in my
heart, there is hope
cause you
are with me still
In my heart,
you live on always there, never gone
Precious child,
you left too soon
Though it
may be true that we're apart
you will live
forever... in my heart
In my plans,
I was the first to leave
Precious child,
precious child
But in this
world, I was left here to grieve
Precious child,
my precious child
In my soul,
there is a hole
that can never
be filled
but in my
heart there is hope
and you are
with me still
In my heart
you live on always there, never gone
Precious child,
you left too soon
though it
may be true that we're apart
you will live
forever... in my heart
God knows I
want to hold you, see you, touch you
and maybe
there's a Heaven
and someday
I will again
Please know
you are not forgotten until then
In my heart
you live on always there never gone
Precious child,
you left too soon
though it
may be true that we're apart
you will live
forever... in my heart

~BUTTERFLY
LIGHTS~
~Author Unknown~
A butterfly
lights beside us
Like a sunbeam
And for a
brief moment
Its beauty
and glory belong to our world
But then it
flies on again;
And though
we wish it could have stayed
We feel so
lucky to have seen it.
My love for
you is not written on paper,
For paper
can be erased.
Nor is my
love for you etched in stone,
For stone
can be broken.
But my love
for you is inscribed in my heart,
Where it shall
remain forever.

~AN ANGEL WAITING~
~Author Unknown~
On a hill in
the distance
A young boy
quietly waits
Patiently
he watches
For his family
at the gate.
His brown eyes
shine so brightly
As hope swells
within,
For soon he'll
see his loved ones
And never
part again.
How joyous
will be the meeting
As mother
holds her child,
And father
kisses softly
The angel
~ his long lost child.
Once more they'll
hold each other,
And tears
will be no more.
Forever they'll
be together
As they pass
through Heaven's door.

~ONE MORE DAY~
~Author Unknown~
Last night
I had a crazy dream
A wish was
granted just for me
It could be
for anything
I didn't ask
for money
or a mansion
in Malibu
I simply wished
for
one more day
with you
One more day,
one more time
One more sunset,
maybe I'll
be satisfied
But then again,
I know what
it would do
Leave me wishing
still
for one more
day with you
One more day...
First thing
I'd do is pray
for time to
crawl
I'd unplug
the telephone
and keep the
TV off
I'd hold you
every second
say a million
I love you's
That's what
I'd do with
one more day
with you
One more day,
one more time
One more sunset,
maybe I'll
be satisfied
But then again,
I know what
it would do
Leave me wishing
still
for one more
day with you
One more day,
one more time
One more sunset
maybe I'd
be satisfied
But then again
I know what
it will do
Leave me wishing
still for
one more day
Leave me wishing
still for
one more day
Leave me wishing
still
one more day
with you...

"THE ROSE BEYOND
THE WALL"
From
the writings of:
A.I. Frink
Near shady
wall a rose once grew,
Budded and
blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and
fed by morning dew,
Shedding it's
sweetness day and night.
As it grew
and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising
to loftier height,
It came to
a crevice in the wall
Through which
there shone a beam of light.
Onward it
crept with added strength
With never
a thought of fear or pride,
It followed
the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded
itself on the other side.
The light,
the dew, the broadening view
Were found
the same as they were before,
And it lost
itself in beauties new,
Breathing
it's fragrance more and more.
Small claim
of death cause us to grieve
And make our
courage faint and fall?
Nay!
Let us faith and hope receive--
The rose still
grows beyond the wall,
Scattering
fragrance far and wide
Just as it
did in days of yore,
Just as it
did on the other side,
Just as it
will forevermore.

~WHAT BEING
YOUR MOTHER MEANS TO ME~
~Barbara Cage~
Being your
mother means that I have had the opportunity to experience loving someone
more than I love myself. I have learned what it's like to experience
joy and pain through someone else's life......
Being your
mother has brought me pride and joy; your accomplishments touch me and
thrill me like no one else's can. It has brought me a few tears and
heartaches at times, but it has taught me hope and patience. It has
shown me the depth, strength, and power of love.
It hasn't always
been easy, and I'm sure I've said and done things that have hurt or confused
you. But no one has ever made me as satisfied as you do just by being
happy. No one has made me as proud as you do just by living up to
your responsibilities.
No one's smiles
has ever warmed my heart like yours does; no one's laughter fills my heart
with delight as quickly as yours can. No one's hugs feel as sweet,
and no one's dreams mean as much to me as yours do.
No other memories
of bad times have miraculously turned into important lessons or humorous
stories; the good times have become precious treasures to relive again
and again.
You are a part
of me, and no matter what happened in the past or what the futures holds,
you are someone I will always accept, forgive, appreciate, adore, and love
unconditionally.
Being your
mother means that I've been given one of life's greatest gifts:
YOU

~IF TEARS COULD
BUILD A STAIRWAY~
~Author Unknown~
If tears could
build a stairway
and memories
were a lane
I could walk
right up to Heaven
and bring
you home again.
No farewell
words were spoken
no time to
say good-bye
you were gone
before I knew it
and only God
knows why.
My heart's
still active in sadness
and secret
tears still flow
what it meant
to lose you
no one can
ever know.
But now I know
you want us
to mourn for
you no more
to remember
all the happy times
life still
has much in store
Since you'll
never be forgotten
I pledge to
you today
a hallowed
place within my heart
is where you'll
always stay.

~DEAR CHILD
IN HEAVEN~
~Author Unknown~
You were a
blessing to us all,
You were a
special child,
And we're
so glad God sent you
To be with
us for awhile
You filled
our home with happiness
And made our
life complete
The time we
had with you
Was far too
short, but oh so sweet
Some things
we don't find easy
To accept
or understand
'Till we realize
they're part of
Our Creator's
perfect plan
Now it comforts
us to know
You're with
the angels up above,
While in our
hearts we hold you close
Surrounded
by our love

~MY LOVE IS
WITH YOU~
~Author Unknown~
My love is
with you
Oh, sweet
son, what can I say?
My heart is
empty without you each day.
The angel
wings you wear must be so grand,
If only I
could reach out and touch your hand.
Maybe then
we could say good-bye
Which could
help dry the tears that I cry.
Now I know
that's impossible for us to do,
So let's make
a deal, just me and you.
When I look
to the stars at night,
You look for
me with all your might.
When you see
me just shine real bright,
And together
we can send our love and say good night.
I miss you,
son, more every day,
And the emptiness
I feel will not go away.
You are my
son and will always be,
My angel in
heaven looking down on me.
You will live
in my heart,
And I will
try to be strong,
Because, my
son, in my heart is where you belong.
I love you,
son, sleep well, my son.

~GONE TOO SOON~
Written by:
~Michael Jackson~
In Memory
Of Ryan White
Gone
too soon
Like a comet
Blazing, cross
the evening sky
Gone too soon
Like a rainbow
Fading in
the twinkling of an eye
Gone too soon
Shiny and sparkly
And splendidly
bright
Here one day
Gone one night
Like the loss
of sunshine
On a cloudy
afternoon
Gone too soon
Like a castle
Built Upon
a sandy beach
Gone too soon
Like a perfect
flower
That is beyond
our reach
Gone too soon
Born to amuse,
to inspire
To delight
Here one day
Gone one night
Like a sunset
Dying upon
the rising moon
Gone too soon
Gone too soon
