~DEATH OF A
CHILD~
~Sandy Eakle~
Sorry I didn't
get to stay.
To laugh and
run and play.
To be there
by your side.
I'm sorry
that I had to die.
God sent me
down to be with you,
To make your
loving heart anew.
To help you
look up and see
Both God and
little me.
Mommy, I wish
I could stay.
Just like
I heard you pray.
But, all the
angels did cry
When they
told little me goodbye.
God didn't
take me cause He's mad.
He didn't
send me to make you sad.
But to give
us both a chance to be
A love so
precious...don't you see?
Up here no
trouble do I see
And the pretty
angels sing to me.
The streets
of gold is where I play
You'll come
here too, mommy, someday.
Until the day
you join me here,
I'll love
you mommy, dear.
Each breeze
you feel and see.
Brings love
and a kiss from me.

PSALM 23
A Psalm of
David
The Lord is
my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me
to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth
me beside the still waters.
He restoreth
my soul.
He leadeth
me in the path of
righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though
I walk through the valley
of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil,
for thou art
with me.
Thy rod and
thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest
a table before me in the
presence of
mine enemies: thou anointest my
head with
oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness
and mercy shall follow me
all the days
of my life; and
I will dwell
in the house of the Lord forever.

~A MOTHER'S
LOVE~
~Author Unknown~
DEAR LORD,
How you must
have loved me
To have sent
this delicate miracle.
This dear
baby has enriched our lives so.
She showed
us all what life is about ~
Loving and
Being loved.
She will always
be with me every time I see
A cluster
of yellow butterflies,
A kitten chasing
a moth in the moonlight,
Or a small
flower emerging from the sidewalk.
Oh, yes, I
still cry at times for my loss,
My loss of
physical presence, her aura.
I Feel as
though I must run through the world calling,
"Where are
you my love?
Come back
to me."
And she will
answer,
"Here mommy,
I'm right here."
But you have
taken her back to you, Lord,
And I am bereaved.
Jesus, here
is another baby for you to hold.
Keep her safe
and warm,
This world
Can be so
cold....

~HE ONLY TAKES
THE BEST~
~Author Unknown~
God saw she
was getting tired
and a cure
was not to be.
So he put
his arms
around her
and whispered,
"Come with
me."
With tear-filled
eyes we watched
her fade away.
Although we
loved her deeply,
we could not
make her stay.
A golden heart
stopped beating,
hard working
hands put to rest.
God broke
our hearts to prove to us
He only takes
the best.

~YOUR SPECIAL
ANGEL~
~Suzanne Burgio~
An angel's
whisper, a dewy touch,
A mothers
tear, a fathers sigh,
A butterfly's
kiss,
Gone in the blink of an eye.
The love
abounds,
From all around,
To heal in
time,
The
brief life you found.
Together remember,
The brief
visit here,
Of Your
Special Angel,
God's messenger.

~THE LITTLEST
ANGEL~
~Billie-Jo
Edwards~
The littlest
angel in Heaven loves kittens,
cowboys and
fun.
Heaven will
never be just as it was
Now that his
life there has begun.
He'll turn
clouds into snowmen and
Swing on the
stars above.
He'll turn
golden streets into playgrounds
and fill up
God's home with his love.
He'll make
dandelions out of sunbeams and
find grassy
meadows for playing.
His laughter
will ring
When the great
choirs sing.
But he'll
hear me whenever I'm praying.
The littlest
angel in Heaven is the one
I am longing
to see.
For the child
that belongs now with Jesus
Is the child
that belonged once with me.

~MY CHILD~
~Author Unknown~
If I could
have a lifetime wish,
A dream that
would come true,
I'd pray to
God with all my heart for yesterday and you.
A thousand
words can't bring you back;
I know because
I've tried.
And neither
can a million tears;
I know because
I've cried.
You left behind
my broken heart
And happy
memories too.
I never wanted
memories,
I only wanted
you.

~A VISITOR
FROM HEAVEN~
~Twila Paris~
A visitor from
Heaven
If only for
awhile
A gift of
love to be returned
We think of
you and smile
A visitor from
Heaven
Accompanied
by grace
Reminding
of a better love
And a better
place
With aching
hearts and empty arms
We send you
with a name
It hurts too
much to let you go
But we're
glad you came
A visitor from
Heaven
If only for
a day
We thank him
for the time he gave
And now it's
time to say
We trust you
to the Father's love
And to his
tender care
Held in His
everlasting arms
And we're
glad you're there
With broken
hearts and open hands
We send you
with a name
It hurt so
much to let you go
But, we're
glad you came.

~TO US YOU
WILL EXIST~
~Author Unknown~
To Us You Will
Exist
in the flowers
in the trees
and all thing
of nature.
You are now
in a world of peace
and happiness
forever.

~I'LL HOLD
YOU IN HEAVEN~
~Author Unknown~
From the very
beginning I loved you
as I made
plans to hold you and rock you
you were so
tiny and helpless as you lay in my womb,
something
went wrong and soon you were gone;
my young heart
was broken
my tears fell
like rain,
I'd never
known such heartache and pain.
You looked
exactly like me, my nose, hair
and eyes even
though they never opened.
Would you
have been big and tall or tiny and small?
I had dreams
for you that reached to the skies.
Thanks to
Jesus, I'll see you in Heaven.
I'll hold
you in Heaven someday,
when my trials
on Earth pass away
the angels
have rocked you,
the Lord watches
over you,
I know you're
waiting for me:
I never can
ever let go, and say
"Goodbye"
because I know in my heart
I'll hold
you in Heaven someday.
