Nick sat there waiting for any doctor to come and tell him what was going on. they have been there for more than an hour now, and it was driving him nuts. He had press charges against Ryan and Alicia, and he called Howie, but all he was concerned was for Linda, she still hadn't awake and she had lost a lot of blood.

"Nick, how is she?" Trish asked as she and Howie arrived  to the hospital

"Well, they haven't told me anything yet." he said

"Man, I hate hospitals" Howie said

"Yeah me too" Trish added "But Nick, look at your arm" she said looking at the blood on his shirt.

"Man, that is nothing, just that stupid guy, but I'm ok, don't worry!"

"Don't worry?? Are you out of your damn mind? and if it infects ? No no, we gotta take care of that." she said as a nurse walked by them.

"Miss, sorry but my friend here is bleeding, I think he needs someone to check it out." she told the nurse

"Oh, my, sir what were you thinking?" as the nurse took a look at the wound " this doesn't look good, I'm gonna find a doctor to take care of, it, come with me"

"No, I'm ok, don't worry"

"No, no, you are coming with me" the nurse said
 

Nick did a death look back at Trish as he walked escorted by the nurse, as both Howie and T couldn't help but laughing.

"Man I hope Linda is ok" she said as she sat there by the corridor

"I'm sure she is gonna be just fine, don't worry" he said as he softly ran his fingers through her hair.

"Thanks for being here next to me, supporting me Howie, you are just great" she said as she leaned back and gave him a hug

"well, I care about Linda, and I care about Nick, and most of all I care about you"

"Thanks, you've been a great friend"

Howie looked at Trish's eyes, all he wanted was to be next to her, but a friend? Could you blame him for wanting to be more than just friends?

"well, that's what I'm here for" he said

He took her hand and they stayed there for a while while they were expecting news from the doctors.

"Well, I think I better call the guys, oh well Brian is with Leighanne, and well AJ is with sally, don't want to disturb that... " he said as Trish turned white, it was if someone had smacked her hard.

"What? what's wrong?" he asked

"Oh nothing, I just ..., I'm worried about Linda, that's all.." she said as she started crying

"Oh, I know what you mean I would be like that too, if I were in you shoes. But I better call Kev then, be right back"

She nodded as she watch him walk away to call Kevin.

"I can't believe it, all this time he was with her" she thought as se started crying harder

"Sally, I'm telling you, I'm not in the mood, just let me get some sleep" AJ said as Sally was all over him kissing

"Oh you are just not in the mood? what's up with that shit? I just arrived and you aren't in the mood?" she said obviously upset "Are you seeing someone on my backs aj?"

"What? What made you think that?"  he lied

"I dunno, just you know I love you so much and all, when will we get married huh?"

"you know I've just been busy with the tour and all, it can't be right now."

"But I love you, and I want to be with you all the time.."

"Yeah, yeah, turn out the light please" he said as he kissed her on the cheek and turned around on the bed to sleep.

Sally just stood there not believing what had just happened.

"Shit that hurted man" Nick said as he returned a couple of minutes later with his arm all tied up.

"You sissy" Howie played

"Yeah, yeah, and you are the brave one, huh? a man that screams every time he sees his own blood"

"watch it kiddo, I am a very sensitive guy" Howie said as Trish just stood there laughing a little.

"How do you put up with this guy?"  nick asked her

"Well,  maybe coz he is gorgeous, and smart, yah know, and famous, and rich, and has this really lovely way of.. " she said as she took Howie's arm

"Oh, no, I just don't wanna know all the dirty things he does."

Howie stood there, wondering what the hell had happened to trish to come from that "I just wanna be friends" to saying the things she just said.
 
 

"Mr Nick Carter?"  the doctor called from Linda's room as Nick jumped out of his sit

"Yes, that would be me"  he said standing in front of him

"You're friend is calling you"

"Oh my, she woke up? Can I come in?"

"Sure, well, first I would like to ask you a favour." the doctor said handing him some paper and pen and Nick stood there not sure of what to do.

"My daughter is a big fan of you, so can you please give me an autograph?"

Nick took the pen and the paper as Trish and Howie started laughing hard.

"Sure, what is your daughters name?"

"Samantha"

"Ok" he wrote something on the paper and handed it to the doctor, as he walked inside and saw Linda's eyes sparking at the sigh of him.

"Nick" she called

"Oh my God, honey are you ok?" he said kissing her forehead

"Sure, thanks to my hero" she said as she saw Howie and Trish by the door laughing of her comment.

"SIS!!! common in" she called as the two girls hugged

They talked for a little, and Linda asked Trish to come back home with her, she said yes.

"Well, Howie, let's go get something to eat ok?" she asked assuming Nick and Linda could use some time on their own.

"Huh? oh yes sure"

"Oh and Nick I called Kevin earlier, it's better you give him a call later and tell him what happened."

Nick nodded.

"Thanks guys, we will see each other later, ok? "

"yeah sure, you two behave!" Trish said

"Man you sounding like AJ, quit it girl"

Linda could see the shadow in her friend's eyes at Nick's comment.

"Well, hey, she is just like that , that's why I like her" Linda said lousing up a little
