"I'll get it" Bob said as he opened the door to see Linda and Nick standing there by the door.

"Hi dad!"

"Nick" he said as they hugged

"I want you to meet Linda"

"It's nice to meet you Linda, now I see why my son talks about you all the time, you are really a beauty" he said as they shook hands

"And now I see where Nick's charm comes from" she said as they smiled

"But, come on in, make yourself at home, tonight it will be only us and the twins, BJ and Leslie are out for a party, girls..."

"Where's mom?"

"She's upstairs getting ready, she'll be down in a minute"

"Hey big bro, wassup?"

"hey brat, how's it going?"

"good, good, I see you are going pretty well yourself" Aaron said as he took a look at Linda "Aren't you gonna introduce me to the fine lady?"

"Watch it mister, she's my gal"

"Hey nice to meet you, I'm Linda, Nick's GAL" Linda joked as Aaron laughed

"my kinda girl, hey, nice to meet yah"

"Where's Angel?" Nick asked

"Who?" Aaron asked as he just stood there staring at Linda "Oh yeah, that Angel, I think she's with mom"

Linda laughed a little as she realized he was there staring at her, and then Nick took her hand.

"Come on, I want you to meet this place"

"That was nice" Trish said as she sat by the couch

"thanks" he said as he sat next to her "So what do you wanna do?" he asked as he placed his arm around her

"I dunno, you choose" she said as she rested her head on his shoulder

"Maybe a movie, huh?"

"yeah, that would be a nice, what do you have?"

"hmmm, I dunno, you choose, what do you like?"

"Scary movies" she said as he laughed a little

"You actually like scary movies?"

"Love them"

"Well, dunno if I have any here, I have 6th sense" he said as he looked at her

"Seen it,  not that scary"

"well, that's the best I can do"

"Ok, lets see what's on tv"  she said as she took the remote and started flipping the channels she then stopped as she saw Keanu Reeves and winona Ryder

"What's that shit?" Howie asked

"Dracula" Trish answered with a funny voice making Howie laugh

"And you telling me, you enjoy this?"

"huh, hu, man where's the popcorns?"

"I'll get them, I'll get them" he said as he got up and walked to the kitchen

"So?" Nick asked as he placed his arms around Linda's waist

"It's really nice I like it" she said giving a little kiss

"Nick?" Jane called as she opened the door and caught them kissing

"Mom, well I was just showing Linda the place around"

"Nice to meet you Mrs Carter" Linda said all smiles and the stoke her hand  forward waiting for Jane to shake it

"Yeah, yeah nice to meet you to" she said turning around and refusing to shake her hand.

"Nick..."

"Sweetie look, my mom sometimes is just a very difficult person, I'm sure she liked you"

"Well..."

"Don't worry ok? I'll go upstairs to check on Angel, you make yourself home"

"Ok" Linda watched Nick going upstairs as she moved on to the living room. there was no one there, she then heard some voices from a room next to it, she assumed it was some kind of office. It caught her attention when she heard her name, and she couldn't help trying to hear it.

"i don't care she is just another slut, just like the rest of them, did you even saw what she was wearing? she has cheap written all over her face"

"But Jane"

"No, no, no, I've seen this script too many times, you think she even cares for him?"

"Well..."

"I'm sure she doesn't, trust me, I know this type of girls, she is just after one thing.. his money"

"Oh you do know those type of girls do you?" Bos said ironically
 
 

Linda felt like she could die, as she started crying hysterically . And Nick's parents stopped talking.

"There's someone there" Jane said as Bob opened the door to see Linda standing there crying hysterically.

"Oh, Good Lord, she listens behinds the doors. Aren't you something special"

Linda turned around not having strength to face Jane, and ran to the front door, not even noticing that Aaron was in the way.

"hey Linda, where's Nick?" Aaron asked as she tried to wipe away the tears

"I dunno, I dunno.." she said as she opened the door and ran outside

"Wait Linda, what's going on?"

Howie gently kiss Trish's forehead as he realized she had fallen asleep on top of her.

"Weird girl, falling asleep on a movie like that" he slowly moved away being careful enough so that he didn't wake her up.

He stood there watching her sleep for a while. She looked so peaceful like that, didn't even seemed the same Trish that he met a couple of months ago.

"Well, better get you a blanket" he said as he got up and went to get a blanket.

"What the hell is going on here? what's that yelling for?"

"Your pet girl just left" Jane said

"My what? dad what's going on?"

"Well, we are having a talk on the office, more like your mom did all the talking."

"And that girl, was listening to it all the time.. The nerve of her"

"Explain it to me better, I'm missing the point, she heard a talk and she left. what's that shit? mom what were you saying?"

"well, we were just discussing what she is, another one after your money sweet heart, trust me I know this things"

"WHAT?"

"Nick, you still my son, lower your voice"

"Nick, she looked pretty upset I think it's better you go after her" Aaron said

"we'll talk later... How could you? Can't you see I really care for her? can't you see me happy?" Nick said as he took the keys of the car and slammed the door behind him.
