"So, he proposed huh?" Trish asked a couple of days later while the two girls were on Pierre's to check out the dresses

"Yeah, look..." Linda said excited as she showed her the ring

"It's beautiful, never thought Carter will have the guts to do it so soon"

"Well, we still don't have a date for the wedding, but, I really want you guys to come to the engagement party"

"Yeah, Howie told me about it, of course we'll go, by the way where is it?"

"Well.. that's the greatest part, it's at this big victorian style house, it is a private property by the beach, it's like a dream" Linda said with her eyes sparkling

"A dream huh?" Trish wondered what was the meaning of those words, she knew Linda was hiding something but she just couldn't put a finger in what was it.

"So it will be a party on the beach, so you just have to go really casual, nothing fancy"

"yeah, ok, ok."

"Bring your bikini, hi hi" Linda said laughing a little

"What the hell? girl you lost it"

"Come on, you'll have fun, no shoes, just the sand, and the sea.. "

"I see I see"

In that minute Pierre entered the waiting room.

"pardon moi mademoiselles, a lot of work" he said as he kissed their hands and Linda giggled

"It's ok, I understand" Trish said

"So will you please come in, and mademoiselle Linda, your dress is ready"

"It is? That was quick"

"Just needs some little adjustments, but it's better you try it to see if you like it"

"Come on Linda, I chose it myself, go on and try it"

"Why am I scared? what did you chose?"

"You'll see" trish said smiling

"Go with my assistant please" Pierre said as she nodded and went to try it on

"And what about the other ladies?"

"Well, Leighanne and Kristin will be here the day after tomorrow, I'm sure they'll stay for a couple of days, so, I can bring them here; but my other friend can only be here like a week before the wedding"

"Hmmm..."

"I know it's too close"

"Well, what we can do is, she gives me her size, and then when she comes we do the last adjustments, can't promise it's gonna look perfect but I'll do my best"
 

"Hey, what you think?" Linda asked with the dress on

"Perfect!" Trish said
