St. Ignatius Loyola Parish School is a Catholic elementary school, located
on Long Island. Its educational programs service students in Nursery through Eighth Grade.

The primary mission of St. Ignatius Loyola School is to provide our students with
religious and academic programs rooted in the spirit of the Gospel, and bearing witness
to our commitment To Teach As Jesus Did, through a caring, creative and challenging
environment that will nurture the religious, physical, social and intellectual growth
and development of all our students.

Curriculum
St. Ignatius Loyola School follows the educational requirements established by the
New York State Department of Education and the Department of Education of the
Diocese of Rockville Centre. Religion classes are an integral part of our daily program.
In addition to the regular academic program, classes are also held in: Art, Computer,
Library, Music/Drama, Physical Education and Spanish.

Parish School Parents Association Member:
Promote understanding and cooperation between teachers and parents, enhance education opportunities for students and participate in fund-raising and social events. Monday night meetings at 8:00pm approximately every six weeks. General Class Coffee and Open School Night held early in the academic year.

Parish School Volunteer:
Share your individual talents and knowledge in the school library, computer labs, and reading and math resource room. If you have flexible daytime hours, even one hour per session is helpful.
