The Angel Who Loves You

Chapter 3

Unforgiven

Taylor waited in the lobby for Andrea. He couldn't guess the name she had checked in under so he couldn't go to her. He had no idea why she hadn't come home last night. Zac had offered her a ride but she had wanted to stay in the hotel and so he knew she was upset with on of them. It bothered him, he couldn't sleep feeling that she was mad at him.

Andrea came to check out and saw Taylor waiting for her. She had wanted to talk to Isaac before she confronted Taylor.

The words of Rachel and Ashley still rang in her ears. "You weren't looking but he was all over her...." "Taylor Hanson wanted us to be a threesome with him...." "You weren't looking..." "He was all over her..." "He was...intense...."

She couldn't shut out the words. The words that said that Taylor was not faithful. The words that convicted him of becoming less that what he was meant to be. The words which realized her biggest fear, that Taylor would become the womanizing asshole he had once been and that she would loose him to teenage tramps.

Taylor walked up from behind her and slid his arms around her waist. She turned to face him.

His eyes. They were so deep and honest. As she looked into his eyes she couldn't see the lies. She had always been able to see through Taylor's lies because his eyes always gave him away to her. Up until now she and Taylor had had nearly a perfect relationship. She was scared that it might be in jeopardy.

His lips brushed over hers. A gentle sensation ran through her, but she was still tense. He could feel it. He knew it had to do with why she hadn't gone home last night, but he decided not to press the issue in public.

Andrea paused after he kissed her. His kiss had been so gentle, his touch always was. It was blatant he cared deeply for her. I'm being silly, she thought. Those girls were probably lying just to get me upset.

She finished checking out and walked with Taylor to a cab which was waiting for them. As the taxi drove to the apartment Taylor massaged her back.

"Why didn't you come home last night?" His voice was soothing, with just a hint of curiousity.

"Um...it was such a nice hotel. I just felt like staying there. You could have stayed with me but you left too early."

This answer seemed to pacify him and he settled for cuddling up with her until the car stopped.

As soon as she walked in the door, Andrea went in search of Isaac.

"Isaac?" she knocked on his door.

He opened it and let her in. "How come you didn't come back last night? Taylor nearly went insane. He thought you were mad at him or something."

She smiled in spite of herself.

Taylor was dying to know what was being said. He was too proud to eaves drop and so he had to suffer under his own imagination. Were it not for Zac who had no qualms about listening on other conversations.

Andrea quickly relayed everything Rachel and Ashley had said the night before. "Has he changed?" she asked. "Do you think that all the attention in London has changed him?"

Isaac shook his head. How could she be this stupid? Why couldn't she see those girls had only said that to try and cause this exact thing to happen between Andrea and Taylor? "He hasn't changed since you came into his life. Well, he hasn't changed in a bad way. I was watching Taylor while he talked to those girls. They were trying to be all over him, but when you turned to watch them they stopped. Taylor never did anything wrong. He loves you, he wouldn't ever hurt you like that."

Andrea nodded. Isaac was probably right, he usually was.

Zac relayed the conversation to Taylor. They stared at one another in complete shock.
