MNM stands for Melina, Nitro and Mercury. MNM made their debut in WWE just after WrestleMania 21, on the first edition of Carlito's Cabana. They confronted one half of the tag champs, Rey Mysterio and then coaxed him and his partner Eddie Guerrero into a title match the very next week. MNM ended up winning the titles, and beat Guerrero and Mysterio in a rematch after their friendship self destructed. They formed an alliance with Chavo Guerrero, helping him drive the wedge further between Guerrero and Rey, and also helping him in his feud against Paul London.
