Our very first PMA Award recipient is Ms. Amanda Lemon. She is recognized for having the Positive Mental Attitude of a champion in the face of adversity. Though a single parent, she continued with her high school education and excelled in her studies. Recently, she made headlines when her school's officials refused to induct her into their chapter of the National Honor Society despite her 3.8 GPA. Our panel knows that some missed recognition will not keep her from reaching for the stars. Kudos, Amanda! Keep up the good work.
