9, 2006 Hey, fellow surfers! I know it's been forvever, but amokeh and I are eternally grateful for your continued clicking. Now that The X-Files are actually AFFORDABLE on DVD - and with Seasons 4-6 coming out March 28th, 2006...well, you can only assume that there will be more fic appearing here SOON! I've been working on several new projects, thanks in part to DVD episodes AND 'Brokeback Mountain' - DAMN is that hot! - (As an aside note, yes, The Sentinel is also coming out on DVD in April, thus Jvan's Sentinel page will most likely feature more smut as well!) so you will most likely have plenty new to read in the coming months. Thanks for sticking with us - MITCH PILEGGI RULES!! Stargate Atlantis is the hottest thing in the universe according to amokeh, so I've now been instructed to watch, listen, and WRITE!!! 2005 Wow, it's been a while, huh? Well, with the demise of the show and very sporadic appearances by THE MAN, it's kind of difficult to find inspiration these days. Although I have nothing new to post on this site at the moment, I will keep it up and running and try to keep you abreast of any Mitch info I hear. The biggest news is that although The Mountain has been axed by the WB, we Mitch-lovers will have a chance to see him again, and soon! My muse has been in hibernation for some time, for which I apologize - but thanks to the FX channel's X-Files Memorial Day Marathon, I've found myself needing to write this. It's left over, of course, from Season 8, but I trust that you'll forgive me - well, I hope so, anyway! "One" can be found on Jvantheterrible's Fanfic page, and with any luck, this will spur amokeh into action; she's been out of order for way longer than me, as you all know. LOL. February 4, 2002 The only updates on the webpages can be seen on the Links page - I've corrected some outdated links and have given the entire site a new look using this wonderful background constructed by the delightful Jvan. Let her know how fantastic it looks! I'm sure all of you have heard by now that Chris Carter has decided to end the series in April. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carter, Mitch, Gillian, David and everyone else involved with the series for giving us 9 great seasons. Yes, it was rocky at times and I for one wasn't sure what the *hell* they were doing with the characters in some of the eps but all in all, it was a fantastic run. I've been thrilled to have been a part of it through various fan clubs, fan sites and fan fiction. Sunday nights will never be the same... There is a movement to recognize Mitch for his incredible work on the X-Files. Please, let your voice be heard and show your appreciation for this wonderful man and engaging actor who brought what was originally intended to be just a peripheral character so much to life that his character and his popularity grew far beyond anyone's expectations. There are a couple of ways you can get involved: One way is to go to Yahoo! Groups and join The Mitch Pileggi Appreciation Group. We're putting together an ad to run in Variety thanking Mitch for his work on the show and need as many people donating towards this as possible. Whatever moneys are left over will go towards the charity of Mitch's choice. A second way to show your appreciation is to head over the Thank You, Mitch site. You can sign the Dreambook letting Mitch know exactly what he's meant to you over the years. The Variety ad will reference this site so please make sure you participate in both. The more the better! We want Mitch (and Hollywood) to know just how wonderful he is! I would also like to thank all of you visiting here for making my X-Files experience that much more special. Even though I'm not the prolific author Jvan is, I've loved doing this and have been thrilled by all the new friends I've made in the process. November 17, 2001 Greetings and salutations, those of you who are STILL with us here in the Skinner Sanctum! This is an update...I have written a NEW Sk/M story, called New Beginnings. The finishing touches are being put on it as you read this, and it WILL be available on my page later tonight.
