Character Traits: Matthew is idealistic and generally sweet and protective, except around Dragon who he doesn't have any time for.
Character Requirements: First and foremost, Matty would need a Scottish accent. It just wouldn't be Matthew without the 'ye's', 'ken's', 'dinna's' etc. Secondly he'd need to be someone that the audience can fall in love with - attractive to a point, but more mentally attractive - someone who can pull off the idealistic youth role (how hard could it be for teenagers today?). Someone who's naturally humerous, because if the actor couldn't chill out and be comfortable and take Matthew lightheartedly, the audience wouldn't be comfortable, and his character wouldn't work.
Appearance: Long-ish hair, limps, sparkling eyes, first appears to be about sixteen.
Accent: A strong Scottish accent. Anyone who says anything else is a halfwit.
