Andrew J. Sellers died at the National Soldiers Home in the vicinity of Dayton, Ohio, on Sunday morning at an early hour, of paralysis at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
He is survied by 2 sons and 4 daughters. William F. Sellers of Fairfield Township, Frank M. Sellers of Hamilton, Ohio, Mrs. Wm Camery of Madisonville,Ohio, Mrs. Grant Monut of Covington Ky., Mrs. Gus Woodward of Sharpsburg, Ky., and Mrs. Bert Shipp of Sevenmile, Ohio, 28 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
He was a vetern of Co. C Fifth Ohio Volunteer regiment, in the Civil War. He also served in the 10th Ky. Cavarly. The body will be taken to Mentor Kentucky for interment on Tuesday.
Mrs. Mary B. Sellers, age 67, 23 Wilson St., widow of Frank Sellers, died of complications at 8:20 o'clock Sunday night, one hour after being admitted to Mercy Hospital.
She was born in Campbell County, Kentucky, July 7, 1877, the daughter of Joseph and Ella Warden Baker. She attended the public scholls of Flag Springs, Ky. and on April 22, 1894, she was married to Frank Sellers. He died February 19, 1939.
She leaves two sons, Raymond Sellers, Hamilton, and Pfc. Don Sellers, with the Army overseas; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Knipper, Central, New Mexcio, and Mrs. Joseph Wahl, Hamilton; three sisters, Mrs. James Powers, Mrs. Henry Laws, and Mrs. Walter Whietbried, all of Foster Ky., one brother John Baker, Foster Ky., four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South Third St., at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning with the Rev. T.J. Steenbergen, pastor of the West Side Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Flag Springs cemetery. Friends may call after 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gertrude Shipp, 86, wife of Albert Shipp, Seven Mile, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in Baker's Convalescent Home, where she had resided two years. Her health had been failing for four years.
A Seven Mile area resident since 1912, Mrs. Shipp was a member of the Seven Mile Untied Presbyterian Church and of the Guild of that church. She was a honorary member of the Current Events and Civic Clubs of Seven Mile.
She was born in Covington, Ky., April 27, 1877, a daughter of Andrew and Mary jane Lucas Sellers. She was educated in the schools of Covington. On April 20, 1898, she married Albert Shipp, and they celebrated their 65th anniversary last year in the Baker Convalescent Home, where both have made their home.

She leaves her husband, Albert Shipp; three daughters, Mrs. George (Ona) Platt, and Mrs. Martin (Mattie) Heinzelman, both of Seven Mile, and Mrs. Carter (Lucille) Moore, Williamsdale; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister; Mrs. Jessie Woodward, Carlisle, Ky.; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Inman Funeral Home, Somerville. The Rev. William Benninger, pastor of the Seven Mile United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday between 7 and 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
