My name is Derek Edward Andrews. I belong to
, for which I am preparing to serve a two-year, full-time mission. I will be serving in the Chile Santiago East Mission, and I am really excited to go. My entrance date into the Provo, Utah MTC is 4 December 2002. For Mom and myself I have created a list of the things contained in my boxes while I am gone.

I am 6'2", brown hair, hazel eyes, 150 lbs., 19, and tan. I like to play football, wrestle, run track, play guitar (I am not very good), play saxophone, play chess, hang out with my friends, read, and play computer games. I especially like to dance. Swing is second only to slow dancing. You should check out my family's home page. I made it. It is under construction all the time, because two of my sisters and one of my brothers are married. I have two nieces and two nephews so far. Kiahna, Caroline, Scott, and Jaxon. They are the cutest babies you will ever see. I am the BEST Uncle, too! (Good combination, huh?)
Hey to Lyon Graulty. He is a good friend from Massachusetts. His band is awesome! If you are ever in Western Mass, look them up. They're name is "Joyride Charlie." Lyon plays guitar in the band. On May 7, 1999 they did a benefit concert at "The Deli" in Great Barrington, MA called "Blues For The Homeless." Apparently, it is now an annual event. I have such influential friends.
I have been on two 50-Mile Hikes with my Varsity Team, 824; Horseshoe to Kennedy Meadows from 17-21 July 2001 and to the top of Mt. Whitney from 22-27 July 2002. I really enjoyed them. Check out the links to see some pictures.
