A few stolen kisses
Taken in the middle of the night
We don't have much time
So hurry and turn out the light

I told myself it wouldn't happen
That we could keep from making love
But somehow it just got out of hand
And we still fit each other like a glove

I just wanted to be close to you
Because I still love you so much
That simple fact made me cry
When I felt the loving in your touch

I felt guilty when it was over
I was afraid you'd be mad at me
The love we had is still there
So why can't you see

We really should be together
It's much better than being apart
All of this emotional ping pong
Is crushing and breaking my heart

But the ball is in your court
And the decision is yours to make
So try to be easy on my feelings
I guess I'll get what I can take
