For once, we had volunteer half lunches instead of mandatory half lunches at work today. It was a beautiful day outside, so I couldn't just stay cooped up inside. While about to enter my car to put up my sun-shield (so it wouldn't get too hot) I noticed this crawling on my roof.
I knew that my camera doesn't get good close-range shots, but it actually turned out better than I expected, especially with that shadow. He was crawling, so the legs are sortof blurred more than the rest. Maybe I should have cropped it closer, but I liked the reflection off the car.
In mostly unrelated news, I just found out that my car insurance expired and I need to get new insurance. I definatly need to get that done before driving to Indiana! And my tooth started acting up again, so I have a dentist appointment Monday morning.

Today I bought one of these noodle things from a vending machine at work. I remember what Greg said in UserFriendly (check out July16-18, 1998): "Ahh, instant noodle broth. Nectar of the gods."

Today I was awakened by loud banging, ripping, and cracking noises. Turns out today was when they planned to start tearing everything down. Would have been nice if they'd told me about it before they started.
Here is part of a wall they tore down. By the end of the summer (so I've been told) that doorway will no longer be there, and that'll be a brand new wall.

This picture didn't turn out well at all. I wasn't really sure if I would get in trouble for taking a picture at work, so I covered the flash, snapped the picture as quickly as I could, and walked away. I had to enhance the image and reduce it's size by lots to get this, and it's still not too good. I guess bad results come from bad methods.
Anyway, they were vacuuming the carpet and making lots of noise today while we were trying to take calls. Apparently we're having some big cheese visit tomorrow, and they want everything to look nice.

This was the most interesting picture I took. My roommate and I did more cleaning in our apartment today. Some of the stuff here needs to be moved across the hall for the summer while they remodel, and they want to start on that as soon as possible. The problem is, we can't move much over until that apartment is cleaned up.
Don't get me wrong, the guy across the hall is really an okay guy, but sometimes... well, you see.

Out landlord is going to completely remodel apt A (where I am) and she says we need to get everything out, including furniture. Well, we had this old piano given to us a few years back. Some of the keys didn't work, and it sounded like it hadn't been tuned in decades. It was already thrown out once before we got it, but someone salvaged it and brought it to us.
We had no idea how we were going to get rid of this. It took practically the whole house to move it in, how were we getting it out to the dumpster? After much push and shove, we decided it wasn't worth it, and shoved it off the front steps. We then proceded to smash it into... smaller pieces so we could more easily carry it.
I know, I know. Some of you are thinking, "Poor piano!" but understand, this piano was on its last legs anyway, and we didn't know what to do with it. We kept some of the bigger, flat pieces, but the rest... is history.

Did a laundry tonight. Here they are, folded and ready to go.
I've also decided to limit at least the width of my pictures to 320 pixels wide. I was originally going to make a nice round 300, but 320 was better. That way if I get a decent shot (like this one), I only need to halve the dimensions for it to work. I also decided to omit the time-stamp thingy in the upper left. It's pretty easy to do, but it's still extra work on my part, and I'm trying to make this as easy as possible.

My collection of old computers I haven't touched since I got my new one.
These are pretty big images to have online, though. Maybe I should limit the size (but in pixels or kilobytes?).
On another note, today is my month-aversry. I'm 272 today!

Went to get measured for a tux here, in preparation for my sister's wedding this summer.
