Chapter Fourteen - Clarke Laurel
I was in deep shit. Taylor had made it home, and if I was caught, I would be in a LOT of trouble. So, I was in the bushes outside the house, and if she came out, she would be coming with me. And she wouldn't be getting away. I looked around almost pissed my pants. Cops. I ducked into the bushes and waited a couple of minutes until they were all in the house. I was grateful for the stretch of forest next to their house, it gave me refuge. I waited for a few moments, then, when I saw no-one emerge from the house, I settled down for a long wait. She couldn't stay in there forever…

"Mom, I'm going outside to wait for Tay while you talk to them...and stuff" "OK honey, be careful" I rolled my eyes.
"Mo-ther! I'm only going out the front for christs' sake!" and I opened the door and slammed it.
Hehehe. She hated that. I walked onto the porch and slumped onto the steps to wait for Tay.
