Additional Notes
Isaac was a member of the House of Representatives.
He enlisted in 1775 in the Revolutionary War and served with
Capt. John Montgomery, Capt Aaron Lewis, and Capt. James Crabtree,
under Col. Russell and Daniel Smyth. He served as a spy scout in
Dunsmore's War-Colonial Militia, and was in the Militia when Dunsmore
offered a reward after the Watagua killing by indians in 1774.
Isaac and a negro slave were the only survivors of the
Wallens's Creek Massacre in Lee Co. Va. in 1773.
Isaac was a very interesting man and much has been written about
him so I have'nt attempted to enter any more than highlights. ---------------------------------------------------------------
