The Earth before the flood

The Earth before the flood was a world thick with lush vegetation, which grew hundreds of feet into the air.
How do we know this? Air taken from air bubbles in tree sap shows that the atmosphere had more Oxygen , Carbon Dioxide, and was at a higher atmospheric pressure than what we have today.
Also, Apatosaurus, formerly known as Brontosaurus, had nasal openings the size of a horse's. How could this huge animal get enough Oxygen to survive? Easy- The Oxygen content in the atmosphere was much greater back then at around 35%, with a higher atmospheric pressure, there would have been plenty of Oxygen for such large creatures to live on.
Insects would have grown to very large sizes as well. - In fact, cock roaches have been grown to the size of the palm of a man's hand (scary thought) by being raised in a hyperbolic chamber.

Another thought- A few years ago, a man planted a cherry tomato plant in a chamber with higher levels of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen and the plant grew to produce 15,000 cherry tomatoes the size of baseballs and the plant itself grew to become larger than many trees. Many people saw this because the plant was in the middle of a shopping mall!

There were no seasons on the Earth at this time. Seasons and "cold" weather are not mentioned until after the flood. So the tilt of the Earth may have been close to 0 degrees.

There was a greenhouse effect all around the globe. This greenhouse effect was caused by the layer of water, which was suspended above the atmosphere. The Hebrew word used to describe this layer in the atmosphere describes multiple layers or strata, like layers of metal placed over each other. The water presumably was frozen to very cold temperatures, because when they fell, they froze the mammoths (those hippy elephants) in less than 5 hours! How do we know this? Because the food was frozen inside there gut, without being digested, which would only happen if the snow that fell on them was -185 degrees Celsius (-300 degrees F).

Also- there have been findings of frozen camels and 300 foot tall trees in the tundra of the northern slopes of Alaska, where no trees grow today! So there was probably no ice cap and no deserts, since the ground was watered by springs.

Genesis 2:5 ... for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, ...

Laterally it did not rain, in the Hebrew we find "loh maw-tar", which means - It did not rain.

Genesis 2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Genesis 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

This describes a world, which is very different from the one we know today.

Pre-flood World Today's World
Rain? No Yes in areas
A mist from the ground? Yes, the whole earth was watered this way No
Ice caps? No, because of the strong greenhouse effect. Yes, at the poles.
Rivers? Yes, they started at one place and did spread over a larger area. Yes, they start over a wide area and merge into one.
Seasons? No. Yes.
Direct sunlight? No. (no rainbows) Yes.
Large oceans? No. Yes.
Large underground oceans? Yes- they were called "fountains of the deep" Only a few remain as aquifers.
Atmosphere Higher Oxygen (35%) and higher pressure than what we see today (perhaps 2.5 bars). 79% Nitrogen, 21% Oxygen, 1 bar of pressure at sea level.

What of the ice age? This would have happened after the flood, remember the frozen mammoths, that WERE FROZEN STANDING UP with undigested food in their gut? The ice rained down freezing many areas of the globe.
