Acrophobia and such. Visit www.bezerk.com/acro

Literally, the word acrophobia means a fear of high places. But we don't mean that. In fact, if I didn't just tell you it meant the fear of high places, you wouldn't even know, would you?

Regardless, the Acrophobia we mean is a crazy little online game run by the folks at Bezerk. In this game, you play in a room with up to 13 other players at a time. You are all given an acronym between 3 and 7 letters in length, say, for example:
CLECP
You have 60 seconds to come up with a corresponding phrase. So, you could put:
Cartman Likes Eating Cheesy Poofs
This is, of course, an example. At the end of 60 seconds, you see everybody else's answer, and you vote for your favorite one (you can't vote for your own, obviously). Whoever gets the most votes wins the round, and their number of points is (number of letters in the acronym + number of votes received). You also receive 2 points if your answer was the quickest one and you got at least one vote, and you get one point if you vote for the answer that wins. When someone reaches 30 points, the top two players compete in the head-to-head Face Off to decide the winner.

Of course, there is much more to this game than meets the eye. That's why we recomment you visit the Acrophobia website to learn more. You'd probably need to do that, because, well, here at the Clan, we're not bright enough to bring you a less vague description than the one above. Sorry 'bout that.
