Lake and snow applets are extremely easy to do - if you are just shown how. All you need to do is grab your favourite picture for the applet, and you can download the *.class file here, and upload the one you want to use (or both) to your webpage server:
- For Snow Applets, download the alcsnow.class file and paste the below shown html code:
Download This File and Upload To Your Server
<center><table border=5 COLS=1 WIDTH="40%">
<tr>
<td>
<center>
<applet code=alcsnow.class codebase="picturenamehere.jpg" Width=300 Height=378>
<param name=grph value="images/picturenamehere.jpg
<param name=snows value="500">
<param name=threadsleep value="50">
</applet></center>
</td>
</tr>
</table></center>
- For Lake Applets, you can download the lake.class file and paste the code here:
Download This File and Upload To Your Server
<center>
<table border="5"><tr><td>
<applet code="lake.class" width="300" height="256">
<param name="image" value="picturename.jpg">
</applet></td></tr></table>
Like the applet on the front page? Let me refresh your memory :)
Here's how I did it:<applet code="PoolMenu" width=436 height=182>
<param name=image value=images/picturename.jpg>
</applet>
You will have to go to David Griffith's site at http://www.spigots.com/spigots.htm and download the file to make the applet. He's got a ton of other applets there also that you might be interested in looking at also :)
Enjoy!
