We've changed most of the body of this car to make it appear older than it actually is. There was some pretty major rust all round the car so we had to replace the floor pan and weld in some new sections. The doors remain as '68 standard but most of the rest of the bodywork has been swapped for pre '67 orginals. That includes the bonnet and decklid as well as the wings and front & rear valances. The roof has been cut to accept a Bernard Newbury raptop kit and the wheels have been replaced with 5 studs which are running 15" Michellins. The lights have been swapped with pre '67 originals as have the quarter windows and new pop-outs have been fitted to the front and rear windows. Double chrome tail rails have also been added. You may notice that the car sits slightly lower than standard as we have lowered the suspension both front and rear by one notch. We have used Blaus Weiss (L289) and Turkis (L380) to create the two tone paint job which matches the interior of the car.
I think he's a stunner now, I hope you agree!
