Well, here it all is!!!
Everything you need is here. All updated Web-Site. ALL
MEMBERS!!!! PLEASE go to the web site and on the opening
page, select the first one on the list***Race Directors
2002-03' Rules Page. .PLEASE!!!!! read the rest of the
P.C.settings, and ALL of the guide lines and explanation
of how you will be expected to drive.Starts will be as
they read....as you cross the white line. Cautious for
the first lap.Allowing the car in front of you to get
going. Low cars stay low, hi line cars stay hi, for the
first lap, unless you can make a safe and clear
pass. If you are stuck behind someone.....you are
stuck there, Paint swappin'and wheel rubbin' are OK...But
make sure the swap and rub don't leave one or both of you
backwards. Remember this...it can take up to 10 sec. for
all of our signals to level out. This is the reason for
cars suddenly appearing in front of you on the second
lap. CAUTION AND DEFENSIVE FIRST LAPS will make it better racing for the rest of the race. www.angelfire.com/on2/halliwellracing/images/nitro_index.html OR B.Halliwell Race Director, Niagara NITRO Sprinters |
Welcome Race Fans!!!!
Season 2 is finally under way. December 12th 2002 And, Boy.....did
it start with a bang. The heat races were nothing short
of spectacular! Trying to run 3 wide gets a bit tight on
the short banks of Gas City, but it sure makes for close
racing. Taking 3 out of five heats, and setting a new 10
lap heat record of 1:50.07,Steeler was flyin' on the
sticky oval early.( pic)The other 2 heats
were won by Bri2k(pic1) (pic2) and defending
Champ,FB(pic1) (pic2). The first A-Main
of the year saw an unbelievable pile up at the start,
leaving Wheeler and Wingit in the trailer for the
restart. Then the remainder of the field took the green
for 50 Laps. FB said after he climbed out,"I tried
everything"....but there was no catching the #3. JD
stayed just out of reach, and FB, just out of the sights
of 3rd place finisher Bri2K. All in all, we could
say.....SURVIVAL AT IT'S BEST, as JD slipped under the
checkers,posting a new 50 lap record of, 9min.10.68sec.(pic) |
