Isaac's Page Long before his arrival, the name Isaac was selected for him because he was to be a "Promise" to us. Isaac Cole was brought into this world on August 24th of the year 1999. He takes after his Daddy in the fact that he arrived just in time for lunch at 10:59 a.m. Beth and I arrived at the hospital Tuesday morning at 2:00 a.m. She dilated rapidly to 10 and began pushing at 8:15. After two exhausting hours of little progress, the Doctor made the decision to perform a "C-Section." Once Beth was prepared for surgery, I was brought to her side. With video camera in hand I waited for our little miracle to be physically taken from Beth's womb. It only took a few minutes for the black and blue boy to arrive, he hardly cried at all as he was cleaned up and the life-line that supported him for the past nine months was severed. I went to the Nursery with Isaac for two hours after his arrival for general checkups and cleaning. We bathed him and checked to ensure all digits were present and accounted for. He had a slight cone-head due to the extensive pushing during labor. Isaac drew quite a crowd into the hospital that day, friends and relatives arrived from as far as Muldrow, Oklahoma to Winslow, Arkansas.
