Statement of Faith |
Here is the AVT statement of faith:
We believe that the Bible is Gods word.
We believe there is only one God who exist forever in three ways, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We Believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That he was born to a virgin, and lived a pure sinless life. That he preformed many miracles. That he died on the cross for the sins of the world and rose from the dead three days later. And that he will come again to judge the world and reward those who believe in him.
We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to earth on the day of Pentecost. He changes our hearts and gives us life when we accept the gift of salvation offered by Jesus Christ.
We believe the Holy Spirit gives us the power to live and act as Jesus would. He also prompts us to repent from sins we have committed.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believer in Jesus Christ.
