Ostara, the Spring Equinox, also known as Spring, Rites of Spring and Eostra's day,
marks the first day of true spring.
As the wheel of the year turns, the Earth's energies change from the deep slumber of
winter to the abundant, bursting energy of spring. Awakening from Her sleep, the Goddess'
energy causes fertility in all life. The buds burst forth from the flowers and trees, life is
reaffirmed. The young God walks the Earth delighting in it's growth and abundance of life as
he grows to maturity.
