I started this project to put some of my poetry online where others could read and get what they may from it. Since then it has become much more. {Doesn't it always =) } For me it's become a learning experience. The poems seem more real when others can read them and tell me how they make them feel. I have loved all the comments I have gotten. It will always surprise me when others tell me how much they love the poems. These are my expressions of my life, my words. But since we all live through these experiences, the words will touch us all, to one extent or another. Learning how they touch others has helped me learn about myself.
And actually, it's helped me get some of my creative juices flowing. I have written more since I started this page than I have in years.
So explore, enjoy, and if you like, tell me what you think. You can sign my guestbook or write to my email on Page 1.
These were written several years ago for two young men I knew that committed suicide.
Where do you run
when you have a fear or a worry or a scare?
Where do you run,
when you think no one is there,
No one who will hear,
No one who will care
Some think no one will
be there, no one will
hear, no one will care,
not care about thier
fears or worries or scares.
So they just run.
Some to a bottle,
some to death
But a bottle can't hear,
Death don't care
So if you have a fear or worry
or scare, just remember,
someones always there.
Whether it be a stranger
passing by, or just a bird
in the sky
Someone will hear you,
someone will care,
about your fear, worry or scare.
He maybe gone from our sight
but we can still see him smile.
His voice maybe gone from our ears,
but we can still hear him laugh.
His life maybe over,
but he still lives in our hearts.
His life continues,
as we go on with ours.
