As you can see the generations below begin with my earliest ancestral grandmother for that particular line and works backwards to her furtherest ancestral grandfather. I chose to do it this way so that I could keep track of how many generations that surname comes down before changing due to marriage. 1. Mary Louise HARMON was born between 1779-1780 in , Wilkes, NC and died in , Haywood, NC. She married Henry KILBY was born abt 1779-1780 in , Wilkes, NC and died in , abt 1856 , Haywood, NC.



SECOND GENERATION


2. John HARMON was born about 1750 and died in Feb 1829 in , Wilkes, NC.

3. Mary Elizabeth (possibly) PILGRIM, unconfirmed, was born about 1764 and died after 1820.

THIRD GENERATION


4. John HARMON, Sr. was born about 1712 in Mittelfranken, Wurttemberg, Rupprechtstegen, GER and died in 1799.

8. Johann Michael HARMON was born about 1670 in Mittelfranken, Wurtemburg, AUSTRIA and died in 1767 in , (now Giles Co.), VA. Another name for Johann was Johann Michael HERRMAN.
