Enter the wise demon. OK, really enter the really awesome water effects section. I spent too much time fiddling with water on this page, and in this entire issue to be honest. I think it comes out rather well on this page.

When this page goes up I will have either finished my homework for the semester, or it will be just about too late. I am confident that I'll have everything in on time, but semester end anxiety always gets to me.

On the bright side, next weekend is my birthday. I am hoping for a number of things, but these are the Sumerian related ones. "Early Mesopotamia: Society and Economy at the Dawn of History" by Nicholas Postgate "Everyday Life in Ancient Mesopotamia" by Jean Bottero, and "The Literature of Ancient Sumer" by Jeremy Black and a bunch of other people. Ideally I want used copies with underlining and notes in the margins, but I wouldn't complain about a brand new one either.
