God of the Moon, The Princely God, God of Time. These are just titles that give hints into his character. I wanted to depict those and more in this drawing. You will notice a black and white version of this on two pages in an earlier issue.

I thought that this was one of the better colorizations that I have done. The sky and water textures came out just about perfectly. I am also happy with how the glow of the moon came out.

Oh, and notice the crescent with the star. The star is actually the planet Venus, and represents the goddess Inanna. This symbolism was later adopted by Islam after the conquest of Baghdad.
