Maskim

These are one of my most favorite types of demon. Mashkimu, or Maskim, were briefly made popular in some circles by the Simon Necronomicon. They aren't particularly lovecraftian, but if it helps they are Cthonic.

In texts they seem something like tornado spirits able to go where their queen directs within the constraints of the Order. There are a few demons more powerful than them, but not many. Here we see them being created by the goddess Ereshkigal, supreme ruler of Kur The Underworld.
