Ereshkigal

In this image we see the newly crowned Queen Ereshkigal. She is reclining upon her throne. The throne isn't particularly middle eastern, the outfit isn't particularly middle eastern, the position isn't particularly regal, and blue lip color should be obvious as not middle eastern.

Together though I think it works for the comic. She's not in the middle east, she's in the Realm of Kur. Her throne was formed from the dragon Kur. Her body and lips reflect a goddess with a unique burden who literally sees the worst suffering of the mortal world come to her.

I like the way the colors came out on this one. It took some work, but they seem to have shaped up well. I was playing around with shading of rippling fabric and stone here.
