Janes Addiction are one of those bands that put effort into each song making each word have meaning. Strange lookin fellas with great music. The vocals are nothing you have heard before and the instrument work is marvellous, particularly the famous guitarist Dave Navarro.

One of Australias most talented bands, TLE are known for there great music, particularly there instumental work, Chris Cheney is one of Australias best guitarists. The Living End are currently touring USA on the Aussie Invasion trip with The Vines, Jet and Zeon.

The new Australian band. Jet have released there first ever album *Get Born*. Jet have become popular fast and are known for there rock tunes.

Blink 182
Blink 182 are famous worldwide known for there punk/pop rock, I started to like them when I heard there new self titled album. Having only touring Australia once, Blink are back and im going to there concert in 3 days!!!

Foo Fighters
Foo fighters have been around for a long time now and have just recently finished there tour for their new album *One by One*, releasing a dvd of footage from the concerts. Dave Grohl is the vocalist/guitarist of the band and has done the drumming for the band Queens of the Stone age. Great rock music, known for there songs *All my Life* and *Times like these*

Nirvana
One of the most popular bands to hit the 90's was Nirvana, Kurt Cobain brang rock music to life. Unfortunatley Cobain led a troubled childhood which led him to diffculties during his career, when he could no longer take it anymore he souicided in 1994. But Nirvanas music still lives and is still very popular today.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Red Hot Chilli peppers are one of the worlds most well known bands, being around for years they have created sophisticated music. I started to get into em this year, they have some very creative stuff, i luv em!

Grinspoon
My first tase of rock music. I first heard grinspoon back in 2001/2002 and thats how my love for rock began, thanks to the grinners. Great Aussie music, a talented band and there very popular. Must listen to them!! They played 10 mins away from me on the 12th, but unfortunatley as it was held in a club it was over 18's so i couldnt go!!!

Jebediah
Jebediah have some great music, there a rock/pop type of band. Some interesting and creative tunes, very catchy songs. The latest album *Jebedah* was released last year sometime. I'll be seeing them soon at "Live n Local"

John Butler Trio
Absolutley fantastic. John Butler is a jack johnson/pete murray but better. His music and voice fit together perfectly, his songs consist of heaps of guitar riffs. Great if you enjoy guitar. The first i ever heard of his music was at Powderfinger live, he was the supporting act and boy they rocked the place! "Sunrise over sea", his new album was released on the 8th of March.
