For players of any level who are looking to optimize their launch angle and distance with a draw-biased flight pattern, the Golfsmith SR-460 is the answer. More than two years in the making, it is another Golfsmith first, featuring a cavity crown design that shifts the center of gravity low and to the back of the clubhead. This raises the launch angle and reduces spinning, delivering longer drives on the course. While its unique shape makes the SR-460 visibly different from other clubheads, its internal design is more impressive. The sole and crown feature an internal baffle system to minimize flexure, or bending, of the crown and sole, allowing maximum energy transfer while tuning the acoustics. In addition, a tungsten heel weight in the head's sole provides a draw-bias flight pattern to reduce pushing and slicing. Our test panel describes the SR-460's sound off the tee as powerful, yet not offensive like many of the large, tin-can-sounding drivers on the market today
