Like the original Python iron, the new Python Plus features a deep undercut cavity, wide sole widths and a mid-oversize body with full perimeter weighting. Within the undercut back cavity, a special urethane insert gives a powerful, solid feel at impact. The CAD designed vibration dampening system incorporates a two-part energy-absorbing insert that decreases negative vibrations resulting from off-center hits. These innovative iron heads also feature a reverse progressive sole design with the long irons having the widest sole widths progressing to medium-wide sole widths in the middle and short irons. This places weight low where it is needed most in the longer clubs, resulting in high-flying, soft-landing approach shots.
