TOMMY KNOCKER SMT
Tommy Knocker Golf.......Disclaimer
After SMT Golf reviewed the high speed photographs from the design phases of their smooth faced 455 and Nemesis drivers, there was a series of pictures that looked as if there was some kind of smoke at both ends of the face of these very popular drivers. What SMT was actually seeing was the water from the "wet test" photos. This type of test lets you see the resistance of air or any other substance on the face of a club. Since the 455 and the Nemesis are smooth faced drivers SMT wondered what would happen if a club was made with score lines that were angled from the lower corner of the heel to the top of the toe. In theory, SMT figured that angled score lines would help promote a quicker transfer of air and foreign material away from the face of the club, and this is exactly what turned out to be true. SMT decided that using the advantage of angled score lines along with their commitment to using the highest quality products the new Solitaire would be a perfect addition to the SMT line of clubs. To compliment the "bi-level" toe and heel score lines, SMT decided to use KOBE Steel from Japan making this one of the finest steel club heads on the market today. Each head is cannon tested 25 times at 100 miles per hour to ensure quality.
