~~THE LIBRARY~~
~~The Night is my companion, and solitude my guide. Would i spend forever here and
not be satisified... And I would be the one to hold you down, kiss you so hard, I'll take your breath away... And after
I whipe away the tears, just close your eyes dear~~Posession by Sarah McLachlan
Tis very lonely sometimes when you are an immortal and there are alot of times when you have more than enough time on your hands
and I usually end up here in the libary...learning about what you mortals truely know about my kind...all of the truth and all of the fiction....
Welcome to my Libary:
~~But I hate things all fiction... there should always be some foundation of fact for the most airy fabris
and pure invention is but the talent of a liar~~LORD BYRON(( letter to his publisher))
~~Dark Angel by Pete Morton~~
~~Some recommended reading for the Vampire Lover in all~~
* the first Vampire book I ever read was the imfamous Bram Stoker's Dracula...tis the first of what became many stories about the "Children of the
Night" ....A very good book, yet I wouldn't want to read this in one of those "curl up with a good book" kind of moods...
Some what hard to read, uses old English language...and hard to believe this but it is about the sexual repression of the time period that it was written in...Well none the less
it is what started the Vampire craze in me and is a cult classic!
Brian Lumley's Necroscope
*Harry Keogh can talk to the dead... he is a necroscope...and he has to battle a powerful vampire and his pupil a secret Soviet spy
who just happens to be a necromancer...This is one of my favorites ...this is the first inthe Necroscope series....and a very good one at that!!!
Brian Lumley's Vamphyri
*Even Death can't stop Harry from battling Vampires... with stronger powers, Harry has to battle a vampire who is creating an army of Vampires ...to take over the
world....this is the second book in the Necroscope series....
Michael Romkey's I, Vampire
*This has to be one of my all time favorite Vampire Books... David the main character is sexy and I truely fell for this man...
He is in search of his love, Tatianna, a Russian vampire... who gave David the "dark gift". There is a suprise around every turn...and the history, well you can find out for yourself...
I truely recommend this one!!!!!
Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire; The Vampire Lestat; Queen of the Damned; The Body Thief;
and Memnoch the Devil
*any one who is truely a Vampire fan in any way shape or form should check one if not all of these out...
What can I say about Lestat...He is the greatest, and the best and the sexiest Vampire out there...but that is just
my opinion!!!!!
Jeanne Kalogridis' Covenant with the Vampire; Children of the Vampire; Lord of the Vampire
These are a series of stories about the Tepesh Family 50 years before Bram's Dracula were written...
they are written as diaries just like Stoker's ... and they are awesome!!!
Tom Holland's Lord of the Dead
it is about the 19th century poet Lord Byron... Mixed with
facts and fiction...this book is pretty darn good...unfortunely there is no site that I can send you too for more
info about him...so perhaps you shuld just read the book~ES~
Some other Vamp stories out there:Kiss of the Vampire
The Book of Common Dread Ravenloft's I, Strahd
Now this Libary is also equipped with the modern essentials, such a an TV with cable and a VCR.....
aaahhhh modern technology is grand...( what did you think, I would have a house without electricity...get with the times....~ES~
