Mr. Yamasaki and his father were going for a ride in the family car. Mr. Yamasaki's father asked him, "Where do you want to go?"
"Straight," said Mr. Yamasaki.
Straight was the direction that this trip would begin and straight was the direction they would continue until Mr. Yamasaki said otherwise.
"There is a truck full of bats," Mr. Yamasaki said, "and there is a bat driving it."
"That is very scary," said Mr. Yamasaki's father.
Straight they drove until they cam to a stop sign. "Turn down the hill," said Mr. Yamasaki.
"Yes, Mr. Yamasaki, we will go down the hill," said Mr. Yamasaki's father.
Down the hill they went, turning when the road turned, going straight when the road went straight.
The course they followed lead them right back to following the truck of bats on the road to gram-ma's house.
"If the truck turns into gram-ma's driveway, it will be scary," Mr. Yamasaki said.
But the truck went straight by gram-ma's driveway and there would be nothing scary in gram-ma's except the old ghost who really wasn't scary...
Just old...
And a ghost...
