Where do you want to go, Mr. Yamasaki?
Based on a true story...

Mr. Yamasaki and his father were going for a ride in the family car. Mr. Yamasaki's father asked him, "Where do you want to go?"

"Straight," said Mr. Yamasaki.

Straight was the direction that this trip would begin and straight was the direction they would continue until Mr. Yamasaki said otherwise.

"Let's go to Cornucopia Town," said Mr. Yamasaki with a laugh that while appearing to be a sincere hardy laugh had the ring to it of being forced.

"Ya know that if you hold a cornucopia by its tail, it looks like an ice cream cone filled with fruit," stated Mr. Yamasaki's father who was pointing the car in the general direction of Cornucopia Town though there were a few twists and turns and stop signs and yield signs to either stop at or yield for before the ultimate destination of Cornucopia Town was reached.

Mr. Yamasaki grew silent as if to ponder this profound statement while all the while he was actually gazing off into space and not even listening to his father. And journey continued yielding for yield signs and stopping for stop sign or visa versa since Mr. Yamasaki's father was pondering a fruit filled ice cream cone in the shape of a cornucopia.

At last, the car reached its ultimate goal and passed straight through the heart of downtown Cornucopia Town that wasn't much of a downtown being only one stop sign where the two streets crossed in the middle of town.

"Let's go to Minibus Land," shouted Mr. Yamasaki with some degree of excitement and this was the direction that the car was traveling at the moment so the choice of Minibus Land seemed somewhat appropriate at the moment. And from the heart of downtown Cornucopia Land to the outskirts of Minibus Land was but a brief distance, all the while Mr. Yamasaki and his father sang the Minibus Land national anthem, "Minibus Land, Minibus Land, Minibus Land, Minibus Land..." No one ever said that the inhabitants of Minibus Land were known for their creativity.

"People get out of their cars and they turn into minibuses," Mr. Yamasaki said as the car passed before the gates that lead to Minibus Land.

"This I know to be true," said Mr. Yamasaki's father.

And they drove until they reached a point in the road where they had the option to turn and turn they did. And they drove down the long and winding road that leads to gram-ma's house. And into the driveway of gram-ma's house they drove until they reached a point where they had the choice of stopping or driving over the embankment into the neighbor's backyard. They chose to stop.

And into gram-ma's house they walked after departing from the automobile. And quietly they walked through the basement so as to not awaken the old ghost that lives there in the basement. Up the stairs and into the kitchen where they consumed cookies and checked the temperature outside.

THE END!
