The Life and Times of Seņor Hybus!
Based on a true story...

Once upon a time, a very long yet short time ago, there lived a little yellow school bus who was known as Seņor Hybus, but all his friends called him Seņor Hybus. One cold wintery day in January, Seņor Hybus was on his way to pick up the children who were waiting at the very last stop before he made his way to school. The children at the last stop numbered four in total though at one time there were five who waited for the arrival of Seņor Hybus. The temperature was hovering near ten degrees Fahrenheit though the wind chill factor made it feel as it was zero. The children made merry throwing small blocks of ice into a neighboring yard while trying to keep warm as best they could. Seņor Hybus on the other hand was warm and toasty chugging along his route over the snow covered road that for the most part had not been plowed for this route was through the countryside were that was sparcely populated and were those that had money did not live.

Seņor Hybus had reached the next to the last stop before reaching the school - a stop that could be clearly seen from the last stop which was on top of a hill and overlooked the next to the last stop. He opened wide and swallowed the two children that had been waiting. The door shut and off he went up the hill to the last stop though he did have a bit of difficulty due to the fact that the road still had a great deal of snow covering its surface. During the moment of difficulty, Seņor Hybus had thoughts of the Little Engine that Could flash though his mind. These thoughts were quickly pushed aside for Seņor Hybus knew that he was vastly superior to any train because he could travel were he want and didn't require rails to do so. Nor did he have to pull railcars behind him, all he had to do was deliver children to and from school and the children weren't made of steel and didn't carry tons of cargo.

At the crest of the hill he stopped and through his doors open wide. He had done it, he had reached the final stop before reaching the school on this journey through a winter wonderland. One by one the children proceeded to file into his belly though he thought that if he had been a female of the species, it would be more appropriate to refer to this region as a womb. But he wasn't female and had no desire to be such. His lips closed behind the last of the four young humans and his gears were engaged causing him to roll in the direction of the final destination. Smoke and various smelly gases poured from his orifice at his rear and these were even more visible than usual due to the cold temperatures. And the father who had been waiting alongside his children waved goodbye to Seņor Hybus as he pulled away from the stop and this made Seņor Hybus smile inside since he could not quite get the metal of his skin to visually to such a thing especially at such a temperature as he skin was now feeling.

Seņor Hybus traveled the short distance to reach the parking lot of Nirvana where he knew that these young humans would depart and he could at last have some peace and quite. Children always gave him the impression that he had some sort of intestinal malady because of all the squirming and wiggling they would be doing while they were in his stomach. Seņor Hybus at last came to a complete stop and the young humans departed and at last he was alone for a well deserved moment of silence. His gears engaged and off he went to the garage where he knew that he would have to spend a large portion of the day listening to others tell their horror stories of what the humans that had been within them had done, or how some of their journeys had been filled with episodes of great danger due to the conditions of the roads. These things he knew he would just have to deal with until the night fell and all would rest for the coming new school day when they would all go through this ordeal again. And Seņor Hybus smiled within for he knew that he loved what he did in spite of all the horrors and dangers and fell fast asleep.
